RTZ is a movement of local governments across the ICLEI-US network stepping up to join the UNFCCC Cities Race to Zero. www.icleiusa.org/race-to-zero/ Cities participating in RTZ should plan to: 1. Pledge to reduce GHG emissions to zero by 2050 and set an interim 2030 target; 2. Plan its actions to achieve both the 2030 and 2050 targets within 12 months of joining; 3. Proceed with high-impact action to achieve the target ASAP; and 4. Publish and report Race to Zero targets, actions, and progress.
