West Palm Beach FL.  A report was published by Nashville nonprofit Community Sustainability USA, based on a survey of 139 southeast U.S. cities with a population of 50,000 or more. It evaluated 21 efforts and activities by these cities in such areas as carrying out a GHG inventory; utilizing renewable energy; and the adoption of resolutions tackling climate change or pledging emission reductions.  The winner was West Palm Beach.  “Few Southeast Cities Have Climate Targets”. www.insideclimatenews.org  6/11/18.  WPB also scored an “A” grade in cdp.net’s climate rankings.
