www.sierraclub.org The SC was founded in 1892 in San Francisco by renowned preservationist John Muir. It might be thought of as the “grandaddy” of all environmental organizations. The SC has chapters in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. It is strongly involved in promoting sustainable energy and mitigating global warming.
